cue Splitter

Anyone out there, who can name a linux-tool (and url for) that splits a cue & its mp3 into several smaller mp3s?

mp3splt(.sourceforge.net) does the stuff.
The thing is, cue files are really annoying because they depends on the underlying codec (splitting a cue/ape or a cue/mp3 isn't the same work).
