12 buttons?!? my mx700 only has 8 buttons, good luck configuring em in kde though, logitech seems to make these things very non standard, last time i looked i couldn't get linux to recognise one of my buttons.
you need to use "evdev" as x11 protocol. (x.org!) for that the kernel needs to have input events enabled.
keeping that in mind, you can use all of your buttons. (xbindkeys!) regards, muesli
I want one, just without 12 buttons. I don't like the extra buttons usually.
the cool thing about the mouse, even if you decide you won't use these extra buttons: they are not in your way. it's still the coolest mouse around
